hands-on marketing and fundraising.

hands-on marketing and fundraising.

Dare with Charlie is hands-on marketing and fundraising for people who already know what needs to change, and want a partner brave enough to help them do it. No slide decks that gather dust. I’ll roll up my sleeves and get it done with you.

DARE YOU

A free 20-minute call. No pitch, no pressure.

Why Dare exists

The best ideas rarely fail on quality. They stall on nerve.

You may already see the bigger picture. You know the brand feels too safe, the message has gone stale, or the funding story isn’t landing. But doing something different feels risky, and there’s never time to find out.

That’s the gap. On one side is what you know. On the other is what’s actually out there, in the world, working.

I’m not a consultant who hands over a report and wishes you luck. I stay for the awkward middle: shaping the idea, writing the words, planning the event, filing the application. And I’ll tell you honestly when something is a bad idea.

Dare you

Most marketing advice stops at the plan. Dare starts there. i find the brave move you’ve been putting off.

hOW IT WORKS

wHAT i CAN DO FOR YOU

Start with one thing or build a whole programme. Either way, we agree a brief, an action plan and clear deliverables before we begin. Then I roll up my sleeves and get it done with you.

Less consultant, more sleeves up

For 15 years I’ve helped organisations say what they really mean, then back it up with action. Sport, charities, recruitment, farming and property: different worlds, same problem. People know what needs to change. They just haven’t had the nerve, or the time, to do it.

I’ve rebuilt brands, written bids, built partnerships and run events. Most recently I led income generation for a rugby club’s charity, bringing in funding from grants, sponsors and supporters. Before that I ran sporting events and a £125k budget across five regional sites. I’ve also chaired committees for rugby’s governing bodies, so I’m comfortable in the room with the people who say yes.

I’m not here to hand over a report. I’ll tell you what I think, then I’ll help you do it.
